Financial Aid & Scholarships

For many families, a primary concern of enrolling their children in Catholic school is the cost. What might have been a barrier to Catholic education in the past, today we are blessed with a variety of financial assistance and scholarship opportunities to make Catholic education an available choice for ALL families.

The Family Tuition Plan
The Family Tuition Plan was developed to link families attending one or more of Scott County’s K-12 Catholic schools to the Embracing Our Future and the Mississippi Valley School Tuition Organization financial aid programs. The Family Tuition Plan evaluates a family’s financial status and applies aid from either funding source, whichever is most appropriate for one’s situation. ALL families are encouraged to apply and application is strictly confidential.

To learn more about how The Family Tuition Plan can help you, call our program coordinator, Liz King, at Assumption High School, (563) 326-5313 ext. 228.

The Monsignor C.J. Donohoe Scholarship Fund

This fund provides financial assistance to those families who have financial burdens.  There are opportunities for tuition assistance grants or loans via this fund. Applicants for this scholarship must first apply for The Family Tuition Plan, and then to the Monsignor C.J. Donohoe Scholarship Fund if further assistance is needed. No parishioner from St. Paul the Apostle Parish is ever turned away from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School because of financial need.  This does presume that the family is active in the parish.

The Father Kenneth Martin Scholarship

This scholarship is for tuition assistance for a needy family attending our Scott County Catholic Schools. One must apply first to the Family Tuition Plan.  If further need is present, contact the principal or pastor of their respective school for more information and application.  This fund is supported by the annual Fr. Kenny Martin Golf Tournament.

College Scholarship Opportunity

Future Fund Scholarship

This $1000.00 scholarship is for high school seniors who graduated from St. Paul the Apostle school and plan to attend a University or College.  The Deadline for this scholarship is Tuesday, March 17th, 2017.

All financial aid and scholarship applications are due April 15  (unless otherwise noted) for the upcoming school year.  Application forms can be obtained from the school or church office or our school website.
