NEW INFO

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

SPS families!
We need your help!
We have some volunteer opportunities still available for TOMORROW during the Day of Awesomeness!
Please consider signing up (even if it’s not your students' time slot for activities).  This is your LAST CHANCE to earn volunteer hours if you still need them for this year!
Also, looking for someone to walk the field at the nursing home across the street from school this evening for debris/dog excrement.

We are keeping an eye on the weather, and have a potential day next week in mind if it’s going to rain during our event tomorrow.

If DOA is postponed, we will use our current volunteer sign up. Please let us know if your availability changes when the date is announced.

LOST AND FOUND

Mrs. Van Camp has set up a table in the milk cooler hallway with all of the lost and found items on it.  If your child is missing something, please have them stop at the table and look, or you may stop in during school hours to take a peek.  Any items not claimed by the end of the school year will be donated.

MEDS IN OFFICE

If your student has ANY medication in the school office, please make sure you stop by to pick it up on the last day of school, or once school is out for summer.  This includes epi pens, inhalers, allergy medications, etc. No medications will be sent home with students.  Any medication not picked up by June 10 will be discarded.   Please remember, we will need updated prescriptions and medications in August if your child(ren) need to take medication at school.

TUESDAY, MAY 31 FOOTBALL TOSS ~ *DOLLAR DONATION TO RALLY FOR REID FOUNDATION*

Rally for Reid Foundation Football Toss this Tuesday, May 31 during all recesses. Every student is invited to bring a dollar to donate to the Rally for Reid Foundation.  Every dollar means a chance to throw a football through the target.  Everyone goes home a winner. Homeroom teachers will collect the money between now and Tuesday and keep track of the number of tosses every child receives.

The 7th graders are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the entire school for two reasons:

1) to raise money for this worthwhile organization and in honor of Reid Gleeson who attended 3 year-old and 4 year-old preschool at St. Paul the Apostle School; and

2) to raise money to donate in honor of Superbowl Champion Jake Gervase who so kindly visited our school back in February. Jake did not want us to pay him, but we wanted to say thank you to him for taking the time to share his story. (We could not do a football toss at that time due to the cold weather.)

So, come one, come all!  Send in your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars!  Every dollar donated gets you a football toss!  All money is donated directly to Rally for Reid Foundation as a thank you to Jake Gervase for visiting our school.

VBS

There is still time to sign up for an amazing adventure this summer!

Our Monumental VBS!  Celebrating GOD’S Greatness with our children.

Go off-road for a monumental adventure through the colorful canyons and sunbaked trails of the southwest.  By exploring God’s awesomeness, kids form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead.  VBS will be June 20-24 for children ages 3-10 (Preschool – 3rd grade, 2021-2022 school year).  Registration forms can be found in the parish office, school office, and also on the parish website.  We are taking signups until the end of the school year, June 3.

We are also looking for volunteers!  All volunteer hours will count towards your Home & School obligation, and a full week of VBS will fulfill your obligation!  Please reach out to Madeline Dudziak-Peake at [email protected] to volunteer.
