PANTHER PERK DAY

Next week is Panther Perks Turn-In Tuesday.  All families who participate will receive an out of uniform day on Friday, October 6th.  You can send your envelope to school and gift cards will be sent home.  Plan your upcoming month's activities - holidays, birthday parties, trips, dining out, sports activities, or travel and purchase Panther Perks gift cards.  The school earns a profit on your gift card and it doesn't cost you more than the value of the gift card.

You can also purchase eGift Cards through https://www.raiseright.com/

When you sign up, the enrollment code is: FDBA8C8C35L9

This will allow you to add the total of your purchase in your mind as you shop in person or online at 750 qualified merchants.  Before you get to the check out, purchase an eGift Card, receive it on your phone, make your purchase, and apply the card you just downloaded.  It really is that simple.  eGift Card purchases can be made beginning on Friday the week before through Tuesday to receive the out of uniform benefit.  You have more time to purchase, more merchants to choose from, and you receive gift cards faster with the eGift Card method.

Orders placed between Friday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 3 will count for the out of uniform day next Friday.

Panther Perks orders can be sent to school any Tuesday to be filled and eGift cards can be ordered anytime you choose. If your order doesn’t come home on Tuesday, it is probably an IOU, which typically comes home on Fridays of that week.  Please check with your child(ren’s) teacher first (sometimes they don’t get their mail at the end of the day).  If they don’t have it, you can either wait to see if it comes home on Friday of that week, or email [email protected].

Turn-In Tuesday for an out of uniform day is only the first Tuesday of the month.

SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKES

School picture retakes will be on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 8AM – 9AM.  Students may wear an out of uniform top to school for retakes, but must bring a uniform top to change into afterward.

FLU SHOTS

Information on Flu Shots is coming home in today’s Wednesday folder.

Flu shots will be on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 31, beginning at 8:30 AM.  Students in K-8 grade are eligible to receive them at school free of charge.

Sign up must be completed by Wednesday, Oct. 25.  Consent forms (either online or paper copies) will not be accepted after this date.

If you would like to sign your child(ren) up online, please go to https://www.genesishealth.com/fluform, otherwise you can return the paper form in today’s folder (I have also attached a form to this email if you need more than one).

This is the only day the Genesis Visiting Nurses will be here, so if you sign up and then your child is absent, you will have to take them to get their shot at a different location.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are in need of 3 volunteers to help with the flu shot clinic on the morning of Tuesday, October 31 from 8:30 until approximately 10:30 – 11:00.  This will count as volunteer hours towards your Home and School obligation.  Please email [email protected] to volunteer.

*******************

COACH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volleyball coaches needed for 6th-8th grade girls’ volleyball. We will have 1-2 teams per grade, so I’d like to have 2-3 coaches per grade to help out. If you are interested in helping, please contact Mr. Bevins at [email protected].
