Welcome! My name is Roni Opar and I have been a first grade teacher at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School for 15 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Education degree from St. Ambrose University.
My husband Mike and I have two daughters who graduated from St. Paul's. Claire is a fifth grade teacher and Erin is a marketing manager.
In my free time I enjoy working on my older home, reading, and gardening. Our family spends vacation time in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and we enjoy world travel. One of my most cherished travel memories was visiting Rome to see Pope Francis.
