Financial Aid & Scholarships

For many families, a primary concern of enrolling their children in Catholic school is the cost. What might have been a barrier to Catholic education in the past, today we are blessed with a variety of financial assistance and scholarship opportunities to make Catholic education an available choice for ALL families.

The Family Tuition Plan

The Family Tuition Plan was developed to link families attending one or more of Scott County’s K-12 Catholic schools to the
Embracing Our Future and the Mississippi Valley School Tuition Organization financial aid programs. The Family Tuition Plan evaluates a family’s financial status and applies aid from either funding source, whichever is most appropriate for one’s situation. ALL families are encouraged to apply and application is strictly confidential.

All applications are electronic - go to www.assumptionhigh.org/familytuitionplan to submit your 2024-2025 application!

To learn more about how The Family Tuition Plan can help you, call our program coordinator at Assumption High School, (563) 326-5313 ext. 228.

Parish Scholarships

Numerous scholarship opportunities are available to active parishioners with students attending St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. Five scholarships are available to graduates of St. Paul the Apostle School for use at Assumption High School. The maximum award for either scholarship opportunity is $500.

Scholarships are provided by the Sr. Genevieve Freund Scholarship Fund, the Mary Jo Rauch Scholarship Fund, the Price Family Scholarship Fund, the Dorothy Keenan Scholarship Fund, the Katherine Sieren Scholarship Fund, St. Paul Home & School, the St. Paul Altar and Rosary Society, the Msgr. Donohue Scholarship Fund and St. Paul the Apostle Parish.

Applications are due May 1 and require that an application has also been submitted to the Family Tuition Plan - a tuition-in-grant program that provides need based tuition assistance to students attending Scott County K-12 Catholic schools. The Family Tuition Plan application can be completed at www.assumptionhigh.org/familytuitionplan
