Tuition Rates for 2026-2027
Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Elementary Non-Parish Supported tuition - $8930
Elementary Parish Supported tuition - $6930 ($8930 minus the parish discount of $2000)
ESA Registration
Parents who choose to enroll their eligible children in one of Iowa’s accredited nonpublic schools will receive an amount equal to the per pupil funding allocated to public school districts for the same budget school year. For the 2026-27 school year, the amount will be $8,148. Funds are held in an education savings account (ESA) to be used for tuition, fees, and other eligible qualified education expenses.
The state contracted with Odyssey for ESA program administration, including applications, financial transactions, compliance, fraud prevention, and customer service. Odyssey securely administers funds and provides families with direct customer service and support.
The ESA rate for 2026-2027 is $8148.
Elementary Parish Supported tuition families will have their full tuition amount covered by the ESA (if you apply for it between April 16 - June 30, 2026).
Elementary Non-Parish families with ESA will have to pay $782 ($8930-$8148) out of pocket for tuition.

Tuition for 2025-26 Kindergarten - 8th grade
Parish Subsidized Student - $6,075
Those who meet the following criterion receive subsidized parish tuition:
A parishioner is someone who:
- Participates regularly (weekly) in the most important aspect of parish life, namely Sunday and Holy Day liturgies.
- Is involved in the life and activity of the parish, giving time and talent to the parish and school.
- Has officially stepped forward and named St. Paul the Apostle as her/his parish community by registering at that parish.
- Realizes the need to be a financially contributing and active member of the parish.
Total Parent Cost with ESA = $150 registration fee.
Non-Parish Subsidized Student - $8,505
Total Parent Cost with ESA = $522 tuition and $150 registration fee.
