Tuition
On 4-8-2025 the Iowa Legislature set the ESA (Education Savings Account) rate for the 2025-2026 school year, which allows Scott County Catholic Schools to finalize our tuition rate schedule for the upcoming year. You may note that in some cases this tuition is lower than originally projected. This results from early registrations that indicate significant enrollment increases, continued support from local Catholic parishes, greater opportunity for cost sharing, and guidance from our Diocese.
Tuition for 2025-26 Kindergarten - 8th grade
Parish Subsidized Student - $6,075
Those who meet the following criterion receive subsidized parish tuition:
A parishioner is someone who:
- Participates regularly (weekly) in the most important aspect of parish life, namely Sunday and Holy Day liturgies.
- Is involved in the life and activity of the parish, giving time and talent to the parish and school.
- Has officially stepped forward and named St. Paul the Apostle as her/his parish community by registering at that parish.
- Realizes the need to be a financially contributing and active member of the parish.
Total Parent Cost with ESA = $150 registration fee.
Non-Parish Subsidized Student - $8,505
Total Parent Cost with ESA = $522 tuition and $150 registration fee.
ESA Registration
The upcoming ESA application period is from April 16, 2025, to June 30, 2025. To apply, click the following link https://iowa.withodyssey.com/en/odyssey_auth/sign_up. If you already have an Odyssey account, click “sign in” below the login box.

Withdrawal
If a student should withdraw from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School before the school year ends, the registration fees are not refunded. Tuition fees are pro-rated.
*The 4 year old Preschool is State funded for Iowa Students who turn 4 by September 15 for 10 hours of instruction. For students who qualify for the state funded program, wrap around fee for the additional hour per week is $250 for the year, due at Roundup in February. The Preschool Registration Fee is $150.00 per child for 3yo and Transitional Kindergarten (TK). Registration fees are not refundable, and are paid in full in February in order to reserve a spot for the upcoming year.
